One of the best of Soto banjar in Balikpapan. Also best for the Sate ayam banjar. The taste of the food in this restaurant does not change all the time since the first time I came to this resto

I bought Soto Banjar, Satay, hot tea, and Milo avocodo ice. Quite tasty food, fast serving, you can choose with rice or rice-cake(lontong), reasonable price. Located at main road, not enough parking area, always full of customers. they have several choices of chopped avocado ice: milo, cheese, and others. The aste and smell of tea seems using local tea

Best soto banjar in Balikpapan! Add chicken satay to complete your meals The place is quite small, no AC as typical “warung makan” so you might expect to be sweating on a hot sunny day If you drive your car, it will be quite difficult to get parking space in front of the shop.. you might park on the opposite street though and take a short walk

It appears that this restaurant serves the finest Soto Banjar. Soto Banjar is renowned for its rich flavors, and its intricate blend of spices places it as my favorite Soto in Indonesia. This restaurant is undoubtedly the best by a significant margin! Pairing it with Sate Ayam adds a unique texture to the Soto, which is definitely a bonus. Additionally, don't miss out on their Es Pokat kocok as it complements the entire meal perfectly.

they sell soto banjar, sop banjar, and some others. soto and sop banjar are actually the same thing. the difference is in the presentation. soto banjar uses ketupat, while sop banjar uses rice. the soup is delicious. it has rice vermicelli, boiled potatoes, shredded chicken, and boiled egg. the soup has rich flavor because the broth is thick, and has many remnants of boiled eggs. they also sell chicken satay. it's a good option too. compared to regular chicken satay sold in java, this one has reddish color. the taste leans into savory and spicy. it's spicy enough without adding any chili.

Delicious, authentic Soto banjar. Savory chicken stock with the fragrance of onions and other aromatics and finished with the texture of silky bihun noodles. The whole experience was just delightful with plain white rice or also available with ketopat. For protein, chicken satay is also available. It's definitely sweeter and more aromatic than the satay you would find in jakarta, but just as delicious. To finish the meal, I'd recommend the alpukat kocok. The mixture of avocado, milo, and cheese shouldn't work, but they complement each other harmoniously. Also, top floor is air conditioned so that's a huge plus.

One of the comfort foods in Balikpapan. Its new place is more comfortable, more spacious, and has a second floor. The new location is next to the old one. The quality, price, and service are still the same.

I'm not sure if this is the most authentic Soto Banjar (never eat one), but what I do know is that it's one of the most delicious soto I've ever had. The broth is thick and creamy with a brownish-white color, and it brings together a rich, savory flavor that is absolutely incredible. The soup comes loaded with generous portions of shredded chicken, a slice of hard-boiled egg, and a piece of potato. It's a truly satisfying and hearty meal. They also offer chicken satay here. The sauce is a little sweeter than the usual Madura-style satay you find in Jakarta. Overall, if you want to try Soto Banjar in Balikpapan, I highly recommend this place. Dabest!
